Dear Craig,
I cant seem to find someone who I feel is right for me. I get asked a lot of questions, as to why Im single and I dont even know what to say. I flirt and would like to be with someone but I keep pulling away, causing me to sometimes settle for less. What should I do?
Caramel
Dear Caramel,
Before you can find that special someone and most importantly, before you can be ready for that special someone, you need to make sure that your mind is in the right place. The first step to finding an answer to any problem is to identify the problem and youve already done this. Now the hard part is to figure out how to correct this problem. The problem right now that youve identified is settling for less. When you settle for less youre setting yourself up for failure and quite possibly putting yourself in a situation that could turn very ugly. This might be hard to understand, but trust me when I say, you will be better off single and waiting for that special someone, than settling for less and having to deal with the headache of a toxic relationship. Trust your gut instincts in situations like this and make sure the next person that you involve yourself with is someone that you can truly call your special someone. And the next time you feel like you are settling for less, look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself you deserve better.
