The world of science and studies conducted around the world have proven that if you want to stay healthy, floating might be the only way to go, because sitting, standing up or laying on your couch all day might be a hazard for your health.
As you can see, sitting can really kill you. Sitting is a disease with 140% possibility of death.
As you can see, standing up can be as dangerous as sitting all day. So what about laying down?
As you can see, even laying on your couch or bed can theoretically be bad for you. So...I've been thinking what might be a solution to this....what should you do if you can't really sit or stand or lay down...and the most logical answer would be that you need to learn to float...or fly. That's it.
So, why can sitting all day be bad for you?
- A recent study showed that people who sit for most of their day are 54% more likely to die of a heart attack.
- Sitting also increases risk of death up to 40%. So if you were 100% sure to die before, if you sit a lot, the chance of dying increases to 140% for you. Not a good sign.
- Sitting makes you fat, according to statistics, fat people sit 2.5 hours more than thin people.
- When you sit, electrical activity in your leg muscles shut off.
- When you sit, calorie burning drops to 1 per minute.

- By standing up a lot, the performance of many fine motor skills of yours turn less good.
- If you work with computers and decide to stand up while working, the computer fixes your posture so that there is greater wrist extension, which again causes you to end up leaning which compromises your wrist posture, thus increasing the risks of a musculoskeletal disorder like carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Eating while standing up - it is bad because your digestive muscles are stretched and feel uncomfortable while digesting.
- Standing up all day might be bad for your knees.
- Standing desks can make you fat because you eat more due to bigger calorie consumption (you get hungry faster), you end up exercising even less, because...well, you feel like you've done it already by simply standing all day.
- Standing for long time can cause your leg bones to actually merge with your ankles, thus causing you to be unable to move your ankles. And this will make it impossible for you to do any other exercise.
As you can see, standing up can be as dangerous as sitting all day. So what about laying down?
Why laying on your bed or couch might be bad for your health?
- It stands to reason that if you don't stand up every once in a while, you might discover your pants getting wet at some point. Sounds logical, right? And none of us wants to see that!
- Bed sores - no comments needed. (okay, just don't know what to say about them)
- And apparently, by laying down all day, you can get fat, or so they say.
As you can see, even laying on your couch or bed can theoretically be bad for you. So...I've been thinking what might be a solution to this....what should you do if you can't really sit or stand or lay down...and the most logical answer would be that you need to learn to float...or fly. That's it.
