Oil baron Mikhail Khodorkovsky, former Russia's richest man, has been sentenced to jail for 9 years. He was found guilty of fraud and tax evasion. He has already spent more than 18 months between 4 walls due to hearings, investigations and trial itself.
The sentence and the whole noise around Khodorkovsky is, however, considered by many a political move by president Putin. Allegedly Khodorovsky was ACTUALLY sentenced for his political ambitions.
