There are already concerns over the health of the new pope,  Pope Benedict XVI.  Although he is thought to be in sound health, he had a stroke in 1991 from which it is said that he fully recovered.

Pope Benedict XVI is the oldest pope to be chosen in over 200 years but according to the Vatican, there is no reason to believe that a stroke which happened 14 years ago will affect his current position.

The pope's older brother, Rev. Georg Ratzinger voiced his concerns. He stated he hoped the stress of the demanding position would not prove to be too much and that his brothers health holds out for him.
