The first Iraqi film will compete at the Cannes Film Festival this year. All together 13 different countries with 20 films will be competing for the top spot.
Four of the films are from US - comic-book adaptation "Sin City", "Broken Flowers" (with Bill Murray) and two others. The Iraqi film is called "Kilometer Zero" and it talks about the Kurdish-Arab relations in Iraq.
The Cannes Film Festival carries the number 58 this year and takes place from May 11 to May 22.
