The University of Wisconsin exhibits a crystal which is believed to be around 4.4 billion years old. Most likely this is the oldest object ever found from Earth.
A 4.4 billion years old crystal - sounds like something big. Actually it's just a tiny piece of chrystal which can be seen only through a microscope. The crystal is just as wide as two human hairs.
The crystal was found by Simon Wilde from Curtin University of Technology in Perth in 1984.
