The German music industry's Echo award has been won by Anastacia, for best international pop/rock female artist. Her albums have sold over 1 million copies in Germany over the last year.
Anastacia, 31, was very excited about the award. "It has been a very good year for me", she said. The award nominations are based on German album sales.
