The horse of Cian O'Connor, an Irish show jumper, was tested and drugs were found from the animal's organism.
Doesn't sound too bad, after all, it was just a horse. However, The International Equestrian Federation has ruled that O'Connor is going to lose his gold medal hard-fought at Athens Olympics. He said that these drugs found did not help his horse's performance not one bit. Similar drugs are used as anti-psychotics for humans.
Cian has said himself that he has never even contemplated doing anything which might jeopardize his goal to win a gold medal.
Cian O'Connor and his horse will be banned from upcoming competitions for 3 months and he has to pay a fine in an amount just a bit more than $4 000 dollars.
