The legal battle over Terri Schiavo has been on for more than a decade now. On Friday Terri Schiavo's parents appealed to Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to help them.
For those who haven't heard about this case - Terri Schiavo suffered brain damage in 1990. Suddenly her heart stopped briefly from a chemical imbalance which might have been caused by an eating disorder. Court-appointed doctors said that she is in a persistent vegetative state with no hope of recovery. However, her parents say that she might get better and say that she would never have wanted to be cut off from food and water. Terri's husband Michael as well as state judge think differently.
