“The hospital received 20 wounded soldiers, most of them are in critical condition,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq – Voices of Iraq – (VOI) on condition of anonymity.
“The wounded were transferred by airplane from Basra International Airport to the Baghdad Airport,” he explained.
Basra has been a hotbed of fierce armed confrontations since Monday between security forces and armed groups, during which scores of civilians were killed and wounded.Jay Gory, The Cheers News
